Danielle, Dean, Dominic and Mikaelle! - Edmonton Family Photography

Danielle's back for more! I did her maternity session a few months ago, and I was super excited to get the chance to do the whole family this time. It's getting cold outside these days, so we've started to photograph families inside with studio lights if they like. The Lorenson Family was the first to try it out. Dominic was so adorable, he couldn't help himself from goofing off, there was so much to look at and play with. After the family stuff was out of the way, the boys took off, and we got to spend time with little Mikaelle! She was so precious, and slept through almost the whole shoot in her momma's arms. Here are some of the cutest shots.

The Burnstad Family - Thanksgiving Family Portrait Session

The Burnstad's celebrated Thanksgiving a week early and we got to join them! They are one of those families where the minute you step in the door, you're treated like part of the family.

Alayna's been a friend of mine for a few years now and I always look forward to seeing her because it feels like no time has passed at all. She invited us out to her parent's farm in Red Water, Alberta for a family session and then some portraits of her and her husband Colin, they run an Outfitting business and needed some images for their website.

Thank you so much for the delicious meal and wonderful afternoon. :)

I don't know why, but I luv the hay bales one, there's something about it that makes me want to run around and play in them again.

I should mention that Alayna and her father are avid horse lovers!!

Here's the whole lot of them!

Can you feel the LOVE?!

Gail and her girls, Laryssa and Reshaun - Family portrait session

Last month on our road trip to Regina, Saskatchewan we met up with Gail, Laryssa and Reshaun for some family portraits.

So often when we think of the milestones to capture in photography, we think of weddings and a family's beginning, but honestly there are so many more determining periods in life...its filled with opportunities for change, forks in the road and moments where the choices we make keep us moving forward on which ever road we take.

Gail came to us for family pictures by request from one of her daughters. She'd recently reached a point in her life where she discovered more about her self and who she was, so she wanted some pictures done to capture it. We thought it was a wonderful idea and were happy to be a part of it. There are more than a few times in my life where i remember the decisions I made have made me who I am today. It was great to meet all of you, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Leung family portraits - Edmonton river valley fall family portraits

The Leung family met us out at Hermitage park on a Sunday evening for some family portraits. With the siblings all living in different cities, coordinating a time and place for everyone to meet proved a little challenging. So when a family wedding brought them together in Edmonton they booked us for a session. The evening light was warm and friendly, just like the family. It was great to meet you all. Here are a few of the images from the shoot.

The fall colours are here and our river valley is at its best. If you're interested in getting family portraits done for Christmas, you may only have a few weeks left to book with the autumn leaves.
